Senior living homes or elderly homes have special needs. Running a senior living home doesn't only mean that you order medical supplies from legit suppliers but it also means having suitable medical staff (caregivers, nurses, doctors) that really care for the residents.
Residents of an elderly home are often retired senior citizens that have medical conditions. The already swelling senior-living industry (which includes everything from retirement housing with minimal medical support to full-blown nursing homes) is a big market in the United States.
In the U.S. alone, there are already an estimated 38,000 assisted living centers, 17,000 nursing homes, 2,200 "continued care retirement communities" and hundreds more "independent living" residences — according to the NIC (National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing and Care Industries).
Real estate developers are also looking into the senior living home business. But like any other business in the world, you have to start with the basics.
